Hi There! The AC is not broken in this unit. It is a bit unique, though. The actual thermostat/central AC is run by the neighboring unit and the AC for this unit is supplemented by the window unit located in the kitchen area.
It was set to 70 but was 74 inside. Wouldn’t that be worse in the summer?

Hi Charlotte, yes our previous tenants have had no issue. If you feel as though the window unit is not keeping up during the winter months please let us know and we can supply a space heater. 🙂

It is a Toshiba window unit rated for the size of the space. It has WiFi capabilities so that you are able to control it via your smart phone, or it can always be controlled manually 🙂
